Base & Storage Options
The Istanbul Bed Frame is available with several different base configurations. Each option provides a different combination of support and storage, allowing you to choose the configuration that best suits your requirements.
Standard Divan Base
A practical standard divan base for customers who prefer a straightforward bed base without built-in storage or a lifting mechanism.
Divan Base with Storage Drawers
A practical divan base featuring built-in under-bed storage drawers, providing convenient storage for bedding, clothing, pillows and other bedroom essentials.
Ottoman Divan Base
The Ottoman Divan Base provides a fully enclosed storage compartment beneath the bed. The mattress platform lifts using a gas-lift mechanism, providing convenient access to the storage space underneath.
Slatted Base
The Slatted Base features a wooden bed-frame construction fitted with wooden slats to support the mattress, providing a traditional slatted bed-base design.
Gas Lift Base with Wooden Slats
This configuration features a gas-lift lifting/support platform fitted with wooden slats to support the mattress.
The gas-lift mechanism assists with lifting the mattress platform, providing access to the storage space underneath.
Gas Lift Base with Full Metal Mesh Support
This configuration features a metal gas-lift lifting/support platform with a full metal mesh mattress-support surface.
The metal mesh provides support across the mattress platform, while the gas-lift mechanism assists with lifting the platform to access the storage space underneath.
Please note: the metal component refers specifically to the gas-lift/mattress-support platform. The upholstered bed structure, including the side rails, headboard and footboard, is not a fully metal construction.
Mattress Option
A mattress can be selected as an optional addition with the Istanbul Bed Frame, allowing you to purchase the bed and mattress together as a complete package.
Available mattress options may vary depending on the selected bed size and configuration.
